September reads for me were Falcons of Narabedla by Marion Zimmerman Bradley, The Sailor on the Seas of Fate by Michael Moorcock, and the 6 part serialized novel The Blackstone Chronicles by John Saul

Depends on what kind of genres you enjoy, Falcons is a sword and planet type book, from Bradley’s Darkover series she wrote from the 60s to 80s mostly, though there are later ones and ones written by other authors. Sailor is the second collection in Elric of Melnibone series by Moorcock, classic sword and sorcery, possibly the best ever written, if you wanted to check that out start with Elric of Melnibone, that’s the first book in the series. And if you’re a horror fan John Saul is a great writer, very popular in the 80s and 90s, when he saw Stephen King release The Green Mile as a serialized novel series he wanted to release one of his own, I really enjoyed Blackstone, it’s a great story.

As a John Carter fan, I like sword and planets so I’ll look into Falcons of Narabedia!

Enjoy! It’s definitely dated and of its times so your mileage may vary but I really enjoyed the initial trilogy of books. Just classic, pulp fun
